There was a fair bit of controversy surrounding the ending of the previous episode. However, I am personally still enjoying the series and it's characters. That being said, as we draw closer to the end of the first season, the story is getting more brutal.
Chainsaw Man – Episode 7
Remember in my review for episode one when I said that the gore would be a selling point for this series...well...I might have been wrong, in part at least, because this show really drives home one other element to the show and its characters that I will explain in this episode review without spoiling anything truly major.
Chainsaw Man – Episode 6
The gang of Devil Hunters find themselves trapped on the 8th floor. Each window and door leads to the rooms on the opposite side of the hallway and the stairs loop infinitely to the same spot. No chance of escape, no way to call for help, and almost all hope is lost.
Chainsaw Man – Episode 5
This episode added more depth to some of the characters and set the tone for the seriousness of situations the group will be going up against in the coming episodes, but it doesn't shy away from it's usual humour, mostly focusing on acts of intimacy being used as motivation, but also there are the jokes surrounding the two devils of the group, Power and Denji, who act like a pair of troublesome kids, who get given gum as a bribe for being good and following orders as well as showing respect to Hayakawa. The fun doesn't really stop in this show and that's why I love it, so if it continues at this quality, it will be an incredible show all-round.
Chainsaw Man – Episode 4
It seems with each new episode of this anime, I find it more and more entertaining. This weeks episode was certainly entertaining to say the least, but it also gave us more expansion to the world of Chainsaw Man, so here is my latest review to explain more.
Chainsaw Man – Episode 3
After interferring with a devil hunt being carried out by civilian hunters, Power and her partner Denji are in trouble with their superiors. They both seem to be struggling with the concept of teamwork but when Power offers Denji and opportunity with a rewards befitting that which he seeks so desperately, Denji is convinced to work with Power on a personal mission, but not everything is as it appears.
Chainsaw Man – Episode 2
So after that first episode I've started reading the Chainsaw Man manga alongside watching the new episodes as they release. So I can make a few comparisons between the two in my reviews.
Chainsaw Man – Episode 1
For me, anime can be hard to get into, because there are so many choices, and a lot of those choices have so much backlog to get through at this point that it can be hard to stick to it and pull through each episode to get to the best bits that you've seen and heard so much about. Luckily, I have found a few stories that are only just getting anime adaptations such as Demon Slayer and more recently, Chainsaw Man! So, here is my review for the first episode of this brand new anime.
