As the investigation into who Kira the criminal killer continues, Light has begun taking drastic but necessary measures to ensure he is not discovered. L is slowly putting the pieces of the puzzle together, but he's not the only one. A fiance of a former FBI agent that was killed by Kira is closing in on the case, and is getting far too close for comfort for Light, who uses his wits and his charm to keep anyone from discovering that he is Kira.
Death Note is one of those anime you hear about and see a lot of when exploring the weeb wide web, and it is often praised as one of the best manga and anime by a large number of people. Despite this, I have yet to watch the anime, and I have never read the books, until now that is, so I am going into this story with no knowledge of what could happen or what should happen, making it an interesting reading journey to say the least.
Ichigo Kurasaki is a 15 year old boy who has always had the ability to see ghosts, but the veil between life and death expands far beyond what he originally could have imagined, but he soon learns the truth when he meets a soul reaper, a being from the soul society that cannot be seen by regular humans, and whose job it is to reap and cleanse the souls of the deceased.
The world is inhabited by small creatures that live alongside humans. These creatures are known as Pokémon, or Pocket Monsters, and there are hundreds of different species that live throughout the land in caves, forests, and bodies of water. Each Pokémon has a form of elemental 'type', and certain humans train hard to become Pokémon trainers, by capturing and battling these creatures, which becomes easier when you understand the type matchups, meaning what each type is strong and weak against.
Izuku Midoriya is a normal, average looking 15 year old boy, living in a not so normal world. In this story, eighty percent of the worlds population are now born with superpowers, known as "quirks".
The world is split into two realms, the first being the material world in which Humans live, known as Assiah, with the second realm being the realm of demons, known as Gehenna and ruled by none other than Satan himself. Exorcists are the ones who stand between the two realms, protecting Assiah from being overrun by the demons that try to inhabit it.
