Death Note – Volume 2

As the investigation into who Kira the criminal killer continues, Light has begun taking drastic but necessary measures to ensure he is not discovered. L is slowly putting the pieces of the puzzle together, but he's not the only one. Death Note – Volume 1

Death Note is one of those anime you hear about and see a lot of when exploring the weeb wide web, and it is often praised as one of the best manga and anime by a large number of people. Despite this, I have yet to watch the anime, and I have never read the books, until now that is, so I am going into this story with no knowledge of what could happen or what should happen, making it an interesting reading journey to say the least.

Bleach – Volume 1

Ichigo Kurasaki is a 15 year old boy who has always had the ability to see ghosts, but the veil between life and death expands far beyond what he originally could have imagined, but he soon learns the truth when he meets a soul reaper, a being from the soul society that cannot be seen by regular humans, and whose job it is to reap and cleanse the souls of the deceased.

Real Hero Shit

Unapologetically awesome, holds nothing back, and the adult content takes nothing away from the pacing, or story, if anything, it simply adds to the overall enjoyable experience. It reminds me of the Dragon Age video game series, so if you're a fan of those, and games like them, then this is a book for you!

Agents of S.L.A.M.

SLAM Wrestling is the greatest sport in the world, and twelve-year-old Katie Jones is the world's biggest wrestling fan and a prolific vlogger with millions of followers. After wrestling manager, Mr. Johnson becomes President of the United States, Katie is invited to the White House to meet her wrestling idols, such as the famous wrestling legend, Bruno Bravado.

Call of the Jersey Devil

The gates of Hell have been opened and all manner of creepy ghoulish creatures have come pouring out of the abyss. All of these creatures are terrifying of course but none of them are quite so terrifying as the infamous Jersey Devil. A beast with hairy, hooved legs, a muscular but spindly body made of flesh, large multiple horns of varying sizes, a dragon-like tail, and large leathery wings like a bat, with black demonic eyes and razor-sharp teeth. Quite literally the stuff of nightmares, and it roams within the Pine Barrens of New Jersey, USA, preying on unwary victims.

Big Alien Moon Crush

Baltazar's signature style is perfect for any children's books as you may have seen before in his previous work with DC comics kids, such as the Tiny Titans series of comics, and Superman of Smallville. His colours are always bright and this book is no exception!
