A little bit about me:
I am an aspiring writer and blogger with hopes of one day writing my own stories set within a fantasy world of my creation. I have an interest in the more medieval side of fantasy rather than the Science Fiction side but that doesn’t mean I don’t love Sci-Fi. I am a huge fan of Sci-Fi films such as Star Wars, as well as a fan of Sci-Fi games like the Borderlands franchise, and TV shows like Stargate SG-1.
I am also a published poet, with my work being published in several anthologies for young writers, and I hope to one day be able to release a book of my poetry, although I concentrate more on writing poems only when the mood hits me rather than trying to force myself to write poems.
Why I set up this blog –
I set up my twitter account in December of 2018 in order to find a community to share my thoughts and opinions with about all things DC comics from the latest episodes of the DC TV universes, to the newest films and casting choices, to the most recent news about the comic books and so on. Then I was inspired by the many profiles out there who shared their reviews on blogs of all the stuff listed above so I decided I should give blogging another try and see what I can do with my fandom, in order to help get my thoughts, opinions and general ideas out there.
The Plan –
When I started this blog I had a few ideas of what to include, which involved the following:
- Movie Reviews
- DC TV Show reviews
- Comic Book Reviews
- Fun lists such as ‘Top Tens’ etc.
Since then, I have thought of other ideas which could make my blog unique to others, whilst also sharing some of my other passions, but more on that in the near future. First thing I want to concentrate on is getting an audience for my blog. So for now, I focus on getting reviews written for the latest films, TV Shows and Comics, as well as going through my backlog of these topics, to review items that have been out for some time, in order to simply share my opinions and thoughts on them.
I want to make this blog entertaining with plenty of content on for my audience to look through without it feeling very repetitive or even dull, so I decided to start off with a blogger, to get the ball rolling whilst I worked on learning what I could about Word Press.
The Bigger Picture –
Once this blog has been edited to a point where I can publish, I hope to have already gained an audience with my Blogger so that I can share this fresh new design with them and have them visiting and sharing the blog, in hopes of finding new audience members as soon as possible.
